Sacred Heart Parish organised a water campaign for the drought affected areas of Ahmednagar. This campaign was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Thomas Dabre, the Bishop of Poona. This watercampaign was both symbolic and humanitarian. It was symbolic in creating an awareness among the people about the drought situation in certain parts of Maharashtra. It was also humanitarian because this water has already been sent to Ahmednagar for use by the people in the villages.
